I'm calling this an unofficial event because really, I'm just getting together with some friends on Saturday and am inviting SIS to tag along. But since Maxi's has a diverse crowd and since we all had such an absolute BLAST last Friday, let's get together again on Saturday to mix & mingle and dance our socks off!

On Saturdays Maxi's usually has a cover of $8 to $10 (back in its heyday it was $15!) Usually they will stamp your parking ticket and parking is free, so bring your parking ticket up to the club. Maxi's is on the top floor of the hotel, great views. Be sure to bring your ID and dress well. The age of the crowd is usually between 30 and 50, but it can vary.
It is usually slow before 10:00 pm , but by 11:00 pm it picks up and gets very busy. So if you want a table, get there early, say 9:00-9:30 pm. I will be getting to Maxi's around 9:30/10:00 pm and will attempt to find a table for us, but no guarantees! The DJ plays a mix of music, some old school, funk, R&B, hip hop, lots of great dance music.
I'll be planning our next "official" SIS event for mid-September. Stay tuned for more details! I'm thinking about the Twisted Cork/O8 Seafood Grill in Bellevue.
